Zone 6B: Munstead English lavender is commonly hardy in Zone 6B if drainage is excellent. Avoid wet winter soil.
Germination: Seeds need some light; sow shallowly. Germination may be slow and uneven.
Harvest: Cut flower stems when lower florets begin opening; harvest flowers on a dry morning.
Seed Saving: Seed-grown Munstead-type plants may show some variation; collect dry seed heads after bloom.
Special Care: Winter wet is often a larger risk than cold. Plant in full sun with excellent drainage.
