[[RESEARCH ENRICHMENT START]]
Zone 6B: Direct sow after the May 5 frost date. With a 55-65 day bloom period, succession sowings through mid-July can provide flowers well into fall.
Germination: Sow 1/2 inch deep. Germination is approximately 10-14 days.
Harvest: Harvest the main 5-6 inch bloom for bouquets as it begins opening. Branching plants may subsequently produce smaller side flowers.
Seed Saving: The commercial mixture is pollenless and its component genetics are not expected to reproduce reliably from saved seed.
Special Care: Bohemian Rhapsody produces pollenless bicolor flowers and branching stems. It is specifically marketed for cut-flower use.
